The BIP was inaugurated by the Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region Charles Picqué on 10^th May 2008. The Brussels Info Place centralizes all the information about the full gamut of tourist and cultural attractions Brussels has to offer.

It is the official reception residence of the Brussels-Capital Region, worthy of any European capital. By virtue of this function, the BIP adds to the character of the Place Royale [the Royal Square] and the Mont des Arts [Hill of the Arts].
